‘Ohana Sessions are our way of capturing artists at their best — live, intimate performances recorded in stunning video & audio. This is a service we offer to any of our Ohana Records artists as well as artists within our community who apply and are selected. It’s heavily curated and beautifully shot live at the location of the artists choosing.

ʻOhana Productions is here to advance the Hawai’i music scene. We use media to promote records and use the data and insights from these sessions to make informed decisions about artists, venues, and lineups.

Our sessions also allow us to build strong connections within the music community and showcase the voices of indigenous Polynesian artists. We are here because we love working with artists.

What does a session look like?

We take pride in injecting great production value and branding into our sessions. We are here to elevate your voice and your music. You pick the song, the location and the vibe - we show up and make it happen. Artists leave with a fully edited video of their performance along with session photos and full marketing and distribution support from our Ohana Productions social channels.

We’re on a Mission.

We aim to highlight and promote the musical talent of Hawaii's Na Leo and Na Mele across our Moku. We believe that every artist, no matter their style or background, deserves to be heard and celebrated. Our goal is to provide a platform for these artists to showcase their authentic selves and roots.

Our Approach.

We keep it simple and authentic. Our sessions are conducted in about an hour, and we let the artist take the lead in choosing the setting, song, and style that represent them best. We also conduct a brief interview to get to know the artist behind the music.

It’s a Collaboration.

We see our sessions as a collaboration with the artist. In exchange for our free services, we ask for permission to post the videos and photos on our Instagram as part of their promotional plan for their new song. We believe in helping artists reach a wider audience and share their music with the world.
